Our modern plant permits quality workmanship, production flexibility

In the foundry, skilled technicians use modern equipment to produce... on a typical day... more than 7,000 castings. The castings range in weight from two ounces to forty pounds.

The new plant utilizes the latest principle of material flow and work environment, providing the conditions necessary to produce high-quality and cost-effective castings.

PIAD charges only virgin metal into its melting furnaces. Consequently, we can control the metal composition precisely and eliminate impurities. We guarantee castings with material uniformity.

For those castings that require some secondary machining, a variety of CNC equipment is available. We can furnish you with near-net-shape castings for finished machined parts depending on your needs.

(Center) The PIAD Precision Casting Corporation began its operation in the United States in 1968. It was a joint venture between a specialized German foundry... which had superb technical expertise... and an American partner,

which contributed production ingenuity plus the necessary skills in marketing and distribution.

The foundry grew rapidly and by 1981 had outgrown its original facilities. The decision was made to build a new facility, which was completed and occupied in May, 1982. In 1998, and additional 15,000 sq. feet was added to house additional casting and finishing equipment.
